Jessica Simpson went out with a friend… they’re in NYC… and they really should have planned their outfits better.  They’re not “twins”, but they definitely look like they planned to wear their animal print dresses… One of them should have been like I’ll be right back and changed… but what do I know?

Then there’s Papa Joe Simpson staring at who knows what as he and Jess left the Ritz.

Ashlee Simpson is on the June cover of Shape Magazine… and she’s looking pretty hot!  She said she never thought she’d pose in a bikini on the cover of a magazine… but guess what –  BIKINI PICTURES SELL!!!

And Ashlee Simpson’s albums don’t.  At least I don’t know anyone who wants to buy one.

Ashlee also apparently “snubbed” her sister’s music the other day, but I listened to the interview and it’s really not that bad… The girl interviewing her asks if she’ll be playing any of her own songs at the wedding, and she laughs and says no… Then she asks what about having your first dance to your sister’s slow song, and Ashlee giggles (that cutesy over the top annoying Ashlee giggle) and says, “no that would be really nerdy.”  I think that’s innocent enough.

They haven’t set a date yet either, but she says it will be “intimate, fun, and easy” – I’m surprised she didn’t say and we’ll sell the pictures to the highest bidder!

Also, Papa Joe is apparently trying to pimp them out for Newlyweds part 2 – he’d love for Pete & Ashlee to end up the way Nick & Jessica did anyway right?
