My baby daddy took our daughter to meet Taylor Swift a few weeks ago before her concert in DC… Taylor sent her a note to thank her for coming to the show!!  She even made her name all pretty on the envelope – my daughter is PUMPED – and how sweet of Taylor!!

My 5 year old now has her own radio station – created by her dad, and to be managed by yours truly… for as long as she wants to pick songs and talk about whatever on the radio… Goom Radio is in Beta right now so nothing has been customized audio-wise, but all you have to do is listen!  Everything should be kid-and-office-friendly – if you hear anything that makes you go “OMG!” please comment or let me know… Like I said, it’s brand new and not complete…

Hands down the cutest kids at the Hannah Montana premiere last night – Willow & Jaden Smith… Obviously they have their own stylists.  Too adorable.  Teri Hatcher was also there with her pretty daughter Emerson.  Miley & Billy Ray, and Taylor Swift… and this Shawn Johnson girl in a crazy flower ensemble.

I am going to end up taking Kyla to see this movie… All of a sudden she is into Hannah Montana and The Jonas Brothers.  She’s been jumping around the bedroom to the Hannah concert for the last hour.  Singing, screaming HANNAH MONTANA ROCKS and then squealing for The Jonas Brothers like an 8 year old.  She just turned 5.  I’m having a hard time with this.

Well I’m sure most of you don’t care, but since I had a pretty crazy weekend I figured I would share some pictures…

We drove to Philadelphia in the snow storm on Friday… met Kyla’s dad to pick her up for the weekend… got home from Philly at 4:30 Saturday morning, drove to MA to visit my grandmother and family… then celebrated Hanukkah with my boyfriend’s family and drove in the snow on Sunday… yesterday we hung out at home and played with Kyla’s new toys… and today they’re on their way back to Poopadelphia while I’m at home trying to clean up, get this site updated, and do some more eBay!

First let me tell you that this child asked me earlier today if she could have her own website… Kyla.com… I don’t even want to try the URL because I’d be willing to be it’s porn.  There is some porn star named Kyla… Ugh.

Anyway, then she was asking if it should be kylamarilyn.com or kylaherlastname.com… and I said no it would have to be kylaknapp.com… so we’ll see.

She took my camera yesterday while she was outside playing on the porch.  She actually did 5 little videos but they will make you dizzy, she hasn’t figured out how to hold the camera yet – she will.

She has a little bit of a cold, allergies are so bad right now we are all stuffed up!!

Witness the cuteness.

Kyla has now figured out how to make video blogs.  We spent the weekend doing random things around the house, and yesterday morning I woke up to a camera in my face – she was recording.  Then she started turning the camera around and talking to it, so she doesn’t even need me to hold it for her anymore!

Here’s the one we did on Saturday.  I was cleaning the frog tank so I had to put Max & Jessica in a bowl.  Kyla likes to touch them, even though I constantly tell her not to…  I feel especially bad about the frog who jumped into the sink… One of the frogs died later that day – I don’t know if it was the one that had jumped into the sink or not.  I had just put warm soapy water in a pan to soak… of course shame on me for telling my kid to put her hand in there, I wasn’t even thinking!  It wasn’t THAT hot, and it was more likely the frog died from the soap… But still I feel bad.  Now whichever one didn’t die (we’re still trying to determine which one it is!) is lonely…

Please don’t call PETA.  It was an accident!!!  I have done really well with these frogs… the fish, not so much, which is why we haven’t gotten any more.

As for Kyla, she asked me this morning if I was going to put her videos on my website… and I said yes.  Then she started talking about the weather and if it was going to be too cold to play outside today… I asked her if she wanted to be a weather girl and do the weather on TV when she grows up and she made a face.  She says, no I don’t think that would be good.

So I said, well what do you want to be when you grow up?

And she says.

“I just wanna be a ROCK STAR!”

You already are nugget.
