The country queens are getting ready to kick of the 2011 Country Music Awards, which air tonight.  The singers were filming a paraody of the original movie that is marking it’s 20th anniversary this year.

This is the first time in seven years that Shania is going to be at the awards – and it’s because she is now promoting her autobiography, her show on OWN and her music.  Seems like this is some year for Shania!

No worries about there being a shortage of talent tonight at the Country Music Awards – Justin Bieber, American Idols Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum are all going to be on stage at some point!

Justin Bieber took his girlfriend Selena Gomez to Hawaii for some rest and relazation after teh Billboard Music Awards this past Sunday night.

Now this is just my opinion, but Justin Bieber is 17 and Selena Gomez is 19.  Isn’t that a little young for anyone to be vacationing in a tropical paradise – and I am assuming that he doesn’t have a parent nearby even though he is a minor!?

I can just see Justin timberlake and Britney Spears all over this from their Michey Mouse Bluc and bubble gum pop days.  You remember them a little bit – back when everyone thought that they were both wholeseom small town kids.  We were all so wrong for a while about them on that…

I’m just hoping that they don’t do anything else that could make tweens and teens follow in their footsteps to make themselves star in Teen Mom next season.

Anyway.  I think that Justin Bieber should still be vacationing with his family – possibly bringing his girlfriend along – but not there alone, without constant parent supervision.

Chris Brown is getting back to work with Justin Bieber, this is going to be interesting…

The two are filming the video for Brown’s latest single “Next 2 You” off of Brown’s F.A.M.E. album that features Bieber.  On working with the Bieber, Brown told MTV News that  ”being able to collab with [Bieber] was great. He’s a young, energetic cat, so being able to work with him, with the fanbase he has, was incredible. I know a lot of little girls are going to love this record.”

So should we now be under the assumption that Justin Bieber isn’t as difficult to work with as we assumed from his appearance on CSI?  Wait.  He’s working with Chris Brown, Bieber needs to be good or he’s going to get a buzz cut.

For some reason, foreign language TV Shows like to make fun of American celebs who don’t understand the language.  They’ll bring them on and proceed to just mess with them, kinda like that SNL Sketch where Chris Farley is on a Japanese game show.

I’m not sure if thats what was happening on the “El Hormiguero” TV show in Spain with Justin Bieber, but from my poor understanding of Spanish it looks like they were messing with Biebs a little bit.  The quiz show segment was called “Do you Know More about Justin Bieber, than Justin Bieber?” and Justin had to wait for all the questions to be translated.  You can kinda hear him complain about it.  He took it in stride and had fun with it.

Justin Bieber was forced to be a no-show at a mall appearance in Long Island, NY.
