Jessica Simpson is releasing a line of maternity clothes along with Destination Maternity.  I think they’re pretty cute but I wish she had some summer stuff!  It is way too hot to wear any of these…

UGH, scratch that.  She won’t be releasing the clothes until this fall… I’m due August 22, so too late for me.  FIGURES!

They will be available at Motherhood and other maternity stores.

Jessica Simpson has apparently sold the first pictures of her baby girl Maxwell to People Magazine for $800,000.  That seems like a lot of money to us… but considering they allegedly paid $6 million for J-Lo’s twins and $11 million for Brad & Angelina’s twins I’d say she was lowballed!

Of course this is just one baby… but I would have assumed at least a million or 2!

It’s cool though, Jess will make plenty off this kid… She’s already got a $3 million deal with Weight Watchers and is also getting ready to sell maternity clothes.

I’m gonna call BS on this story… Here’s the deal.

Hollywoodlife.com claims a source told them that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo sent Jessica Simpson a baby gift – a big basket of pink cookies.

First of all, have they seen what she looks like lately?  Cookies are the last thing she needs.

But here’s why I am pretty sure the story is fake anyway:

They mention the name of the cookie place where the gift allegedly came from, complete with a link to it… So I’m thinking someone from the cookie place contacted the website, knowing they don’t really care if the story is true or not, and said they had just delivered the cookies… Oh and by the way can you make sure you credit us by linking to our cookie business?

I could be wrong… but check this out, what do you think?

Here are pictures of the 3 bedroom/2 bathroom birthing suite at Cedars-Sinai in LA where Jessica Simpson had her baby this morning.  Pretty sweet!!  The cost is $3,784 per day… which honestly doesn’t seem that bad considering it’s a hospital room.  I wonder if my health insurance would cover that…

UPDATE:  Well that was fast… Apparently TMZ was a little behind – the baby is here!

Us Weekly is reporting Jessica Simpson gave birth to a little girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson, this morning.  Baby girl weighed 9lbs 13oz… We knew she’d be big!

EARLIER…

According to TMZ, Jessica Simpson has checked into the hospital and baby Johnson is finally ready to arrive!

Jessica’s mom and sister, and her fiance’s parents, are at the hospital too… They actually think she may have already given birth but no confirmation yet!

Snooki told US Weekly that she “would die” if she got that big.

I think OK Magazine and In Touch Weekly are more anxious for Jessica Simpson to give birth than Jessica Simpson is!!!

The April 4 cover of OK! said “My First Days As A New Mom” as if she’s already been living them…

And now In Touch has “Inside Jessica’s Dramatic Delivery” as their cover story but how the hell do they have details on a delivery that DID NOT YET HAPPEN?

The fake pregnancy stories are bad enough… now we are writing cover stories like the girl actually popped the kid out when she didn’t?

Am I the only one who is reading it this way or what?
