Lots of action at the MTV Video Music Awards last night… Kanye West acting the fool that he is, fool isn’t the word… nor is douchebag, asshole, or anything else I can come up with.  If there were a male version of a see you next Tuesday… that’s Kanye.

Lady Gaga thankfully covered her face most of the time, and made a grand spectacle of herself on stage… what was with the walking stick, wheelchair, etc?  Like we don’t know she’s retarded?  Oops, sorry – that’s what I said to my friend as we were watching it… I know people are sensitive to that word, so I apolgize if it offends you, but I had to say it.  Seriously, she’s a nut.  Oh, and Kermit the Frog was her date, which is funny because I often think she looks just like Miss Piggy.

Madonna gave a moving speech about Michael Jackson.  People will make fun, and she’s rather nauseating at times, but I’m glad she said what she said for him… It was all true.  Lots of crotch grabbing going on in her house as her boys are learning to appreciate MJ… that cracked me up!

Beyonce’s performance was awesome, of course, here are some pictures of her in her skimpy leotard too!

I have to watch it again today in case I missed anything…

Why do they keep allowing Russell Brand to host these events?  He’s terrible and half of what he says doesn’t even make sense!!

Jennifer Lopez just launched a new fragrance at Macy’s – Deseo.  She showed up wearing a white dress and bright red lipstick – and the lipstick looks TERRIBLE!  If you look at the big pictures it’s not even on straight and the lipliner is a mess… ugh.  WHY?

Tons of celebrities participated in the Nautica Triathlon yesterday.  Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, Eliza Dushku, Felicity Huffman, Anna Kournikova, and others got wet, ran, and biked… for charity.

The highlight of course is Matthew McConaughey topless!

OK I am not one to like these two AT ALL, but I must give credit where it’s due – they look HOT.  Intimidating and bitchy as hell, but HOT.  I like Posh’s short hair – she wears it almost as well as Halle Berry… and Jennifer Lopez needs to give Christina Aguilera her trainers number because she’s in shape like nobody’s business so soon after popping out TWINS!
