Our African Grey – Sasha – talks and picks up noises and repeats them, and of course since these birds have the learning capacity of a toddler they opt to say the most obnoxious of things they hear…

Currently, she’s saying “F**KER” like a broken record because she spent the last few months as the store pet in Philly and one of the “regular customers” thought it would be funny to try to get her to say it… and sure enough.  THANKS!!

Anyway, I don’t have her dropping the F-bomb on video… yet… but I do have her imitating Brian opening a soda, gulping it down, ahhhing when he was done… and BELCHING – TWICE!!

The voice you hear is her imitating my boyfriend…  and the clunking of the tongue is what I do constantly and she does it more and more.  I am trying to get her to say ” I love you mama” and “YOU ROCK” when we’re playing guitar hero.  Instead, she burps!!

Lindsay Lohan spent New Year’s weekend on the beach in Miami… the beach seemed to be a popular place to ring in 2009 – Jared Leto, Gerard Butler, Chloe Sevigny, and Kristin Cavallari were also showing off their beach bums… Well, at least the chicks were!

I rang in 2009 on the couch!  Only it wasn’t my couch… we went to my boyfriend’s sister’s house to play Guitar Hero, eat, play poker, and hang out… I had 1/2 a bottle of Pinot and passed out when my eyeballs nearly rolled into the back of my head – but not from the wine, from watching the Guitar Hero screen!

I play pretty much every song on HARD and can get through a few on EXPERT!  GO ME!

Here’s an unedited video of my daughter Kyla rockin’ along to Guitar Hero.  I am playing, but the camera is on her… she had no idea I was taping her.  She cracks me up.  This is what we do when we’re not at the park or playing Barbies.  She loves it!

I can’t wait for Aerosmith Guitar Hero in a few weeks.  I hope Steven Tyler is out of rehab in time for the release. 

We’re off to Newport for the day.  It’s gorgeous and 80 out.  We’re just waiting for our friend to get back from the mall, he had to go get a shirt… I am so happy I’m not famous because I would never want to be caught by the paparazzi all pasty white in this sundress!  I’d look much better with some spray tan, but I refuse – I just hate the feeling of being painted.  It’s too unnatural.  I’ll get some sun today.

Steven Tyler is my favorite rock star.  I met him when I was 21 and it was very cool… Aerosmith Guitar Hero comes out next month and I CAN NOT WAIT.  However, favorite rock star LOOKS LIKE A LADY!!!  Seriously, if you look at just his jeans and sneaks, he looks like a girl being sporty.

I freaking LOVE Guitar Hero.  This is me playing on Sunday.  I had never played before, so I think I did OK… Now I’m sore from it… my wrists and forearms feel bruised.  I keep thinking of that line from the Bryan Adams song “played until my fingers bled”, only this isn’t the Summer of 69.  I’ve been doing the practice mode to get through this nutty guitar solo in Hit Me With Your Best Shot.  I’m a dork, I know.
