The country queens are getting ready to kick of the 2011 Country Music Awards, which air tonight. The singers were filming a paraody of the original movie that is marking it’s 20th anniversary this year.
This is the first time in seven years that Shania is going to be at the awards – and it’s because she is now promoting her autobiography, her show on OWN and her music. Seems like this is some year for Shania!
No worries about there being a shortage of talent tonight at the Country Music Awards – Justin Bieber, American Idols Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum are all going to be on stage at some point!

Leann Rimes had no problem showing up all smiles at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night… She and Eddie Cibrian are still insisting they didn’t do anything wrong. Either way, she’s not looking so cute these days… kind of hookerish if you ask me.
Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and of course Taylor Swift look amazing… Miley looks innocent enough, although I am really struggling with whether or not I want my 5 year old jumping on that bandwagon… Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban look more awkward than Tom & Katie, and apparently the gone country Jessica Simpson wasn’t invited… I didn’t watch, so I don’t know.
