My boyfriend took that picture of the sky last night… There were tornado warnings all over and Kyla was freaking out… She had to come to work with me and she heard me telling him there were tornado warnings and I didn’t want him to get on the road. Then she started asking me alllllll night if there was going to be a twister and she would not stop obsessing! *Oh Lord she is just like me in the head uh-oh!*

Anyway, I ended up walking her down to the news room to have them tell her there were no more twisters! She walked up to Steve and said, “are there anymore twisters?” It was so cute!!!

So wouldn’t you know this morning I randomly wake up early and start listening to my friend’s radio station online… and there’s a PSA for Ready.gov - They’ve launched this HUGE campaign to get people ready in case there is an emergency and help can’t get to you fast enough… Look at all the disasters that have left people devastated? None of these people - nor any of us - would be prepared for what happened with Katrina or other 9/11 or anything, so knowing full well they can not always help immediately, they’re telling people how to take care of themselves… You should check it out.

I’m thinking of taking Kyla shopping and getting some of the stuff this weekend. It’s Mommy and Kyla day today… and tonight we’re going to see American Idol with Grammy & Becca and our new neighbors. I have the night off… and believe me, I need it. I had part 2 of a root canal, had car issues that required us to make a trip back to RI, got stuck in an Autozone during a hail storm, and ended up taking my nugget to work after getting 3 hours of sleep the night before and driving all afternoon…

Yeah, mama’s tired! I’m up at 7:30 BEFORE her so I can at least put something up on this website… Especially after I receive comments like this:

Why did you put all this time and money into this site if your hardly ever going to update it?

Because I enjoy doing it, because whether I update it constantly or every couple of days when I’m really busy, it is still an income generating business, and because I am working as much as I can to develop the site while keeping it updated too, both aspects take time… and right now I have another job, a 4 year old, and we just moved to a new place and I have a lot to do to get us settled. Plus my car failed the emissions test so I had to go to the DMV and emissions places a few times. Props to my boyfriend for working it out so it only cost us $7.99 to get the car up to passing status!!! When it FAILED I thought GREAT another couple hundred out the door… but it was easy!

So that’s where I’ve been and why the site hasn’t been updated. I’m working on it, but we’ve been running around so much lately I haven’t spent any real time with Kyla so today is our day… and believe me, we WILL BE taking a nap before the concert, I won’t make it if we don’t!

So the question everyone’s been asking was finally answered on Regis & Kelly… Does David Cook have a girlfriend?

Well, David told Regis & Kelly that he took Kimberly Caldwell on a date at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse - and it went well… and he said they’ll probably hang out again!

I hope the paparazzi follow them.  I want to see what happens!!

That’s a very nice pretty picture of Kimberly by the way, there are a bunch of not so flattering ones I could have used but I felt like being nice… for now.  I’ll save the other ones for when she breaks his heart.

Oh, and just don’t let them make a “From David to Kimberly” movie!!!!!

Michael Jackson wasn’t the special guest on American Idol last week… but he did show up at fashion designer Christian Audigier’s birthday party last night!

Unreal… Can’t do AI - but will do a private birthday party.  I can not wait to find out how much MJ got paid to do this.

His face doesn’t seem to be too much worse than it’s been recently… his nose has kind of reached a falling off plateau.

Fergie was also there, she and Michael apparently had a conversation in Fergie’s dressing room.  I wonder how that went.

Not only did David Cook win American Idol and get the recording contract that comes along with it, he is now the proud owner of this bright blue custom made AI chopper!  The motorcycle has pictures of the past winners, the judges, and Ryan Seacrest on it, and they’ll be putting David’s face on it now that he won.  Pretty damn sweet… in a Pee Wee Herman bike kind of way I guess.

DAVID COOK WON AMERICAN IDOL!!!!

I was so surprised… I WANTED him to win, and I know he is just BETTER than David Archuleta, but it just didn’t seem like he was going to pull it off.  He got 12 million more votes than David… which seems like a lot, but it was really a 56/44 split which isn’t that much of a “landslide”…

I just hope he keeps his humility… and does anyone know if he still has a girlfriend?  He was dating the girl from the dance show (too tired to look it up right now sorry) but I don’t know what the latest is.

What do you think?  Can you believe Simon apologized to him?  That was pretty cool…

According to Extra, the executive producer of American Idol says “the biggest star in the world” will be performing on the finale… and Paula Abdul said she has a “sneaking suspicion” that it IS Michael Jackson! We’ll see… Wasn’t he supposed to perform at some other big event recently and he pootied out at the last minute?? What about Madonna? Could it be her? She’s in France right now though, I just saw pictures of her in Cannes, so she’d have to scoot to LA quick… We’ll find out tomorrow night!

And who do you think is going to win anyway? I can’t wait to go home tonight and watch the performances - GO DAVID COOK!!!
