I just got word that Madonna is apparently the “biggest star in the world” who will be performing on the American Idol finale.  And the J of “MJ” that Paula talks about is Justin Timberlake!  Of course this is not official, but that’s the rumor going around…

As for this statement from Extra (I talk about it a few posts down, made some phone calls, and found out the real story), I think they totally put the Michael Jackson in Paula’s mouth… Here’s the exact quote from the email I received from Extra.

According to Idol’s Nigel Lythgoe, the biggest star in the world will be performing at the Idol finale and Abdul gives “Extra” a hint! “I think it’s MJ,” Abduls reveals. When asked if she really believes Michael Jackson is performing, Abdul responds, “Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion.”

So, I think MJ actually  means Madonna & Justin Timberlake… THIS WILL BE HOT!!!

She’s sucked face with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and some random back-up dancer, on stage… now it’s Justin’s turn…

Actually, the performance will be pre-recorded – perhaps it’s already been done.

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling I’m right…  I haven’t looked anywhere else to see what the story is, so this is all from Extra and my sources in LA.
