This is my 5 year old daughter Kyla… She is in a Hannah Montana phase bigtime.  Do I encourage this?  I think it’s ridiculous and I know I should just go with the flow but isn’t she a LITTLE too young to be getting into Hannah Montana?  What about Care Bears, baby dolls, princesses, etc… Dora WHO?  Are other 5 year olds into this?  Maybe I am just out of touch because she’s my first & only kid so I don’t know what they’re into at what ages but at 5 I was all about playing house!!

If she’s old enough to rock out to Hannah Montana she is certainly old enough to clean her room without putting up a fuss… so I think I will take advantage of this.

Anyway, your thoughts?

I told you I did 2 video blogs today!  If you like them share with your friends and tell them I’m funny… Or something.

I say “like” too much, but here’s my VLOG for the day.  Actually, I did TWO vlogs right in a row… the next one is coming in a few.  Then I must get to selling these Barbie dolls!!

I HAD to have these Betty Crocker Cookie Brownie Bars, I made them Sunday night… after the great laundry adventure… Shocking as it may seem, there is still 1/4 of a pan left!!

I have no idea what to even say about this masterpiece of video production other than I really need to take a course or two… Or find a producer willing to work for minimum wage…

There are a bunch of places where I could have inserted other things, but I have so much to do today I can’t spend my entire day trying to make a vlog that 20 people will watch and hate.

I have 2 more in the works, but I’m not going to bother unless I get some feedback!

Time to give the Barbies a bath and play with their hair so I can list them in my eBay store!

I updated the site a LOT this weekend so you should be able to go back a few pages and see fun stuff.   More dirt later!

This vlog is long and boring, just telling you up front.  It’s just me walking around the new place in FL a few weeks ago… right after we got here.

Sasha is now set up in her big cage with the little one on the patio, we still have to get some furniture but we’ve been slightly victimized by the rough economy – haven’t we all – so we’ll be getting some stuff soon…  Probably off Craigslist!  My office is set up but I want to clear a space to do my vlogs so I can look at the camera sometimes – gotta get my hair fixed first… It is root-tastic right now, one of the things I’ve “let go”, being a victim of the rough economy and all.  But I’m actually happier and more motivated now than I was when I had a job… take that however you want, I’m just being honest.

I am going to do another one in the next few days, right now I am DREADING a trip to the laundromat so bad it is making me feel ill!!

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT!  I know for a while the comment section didn’t work, but it does now… I have thousands of readers every day and very few comments.  Do I just not strike enough nerves to get some sass either way?

Our African Grey – Sasha – talks and picks up noises and repeats them, and of course since these birds have the learning capacity of a toddler they opt to say the most obnoxious of things they hear…

Currently, she’s saying “F**KER” like a broken record because she spent the last few months as the store pet in Philly and one of the “regular customers” thought it would be funny to try to get her to say it… and sure enough.  THANKS!!

Anyway, I don’t have her dropping the F-bomb on video… yet… but I do have her imitating Brian opening a soda, gulping it down, ahhhing when he was done… and BELCHING – TWICE!!

The voice you hear is her imitating my boyfriend…  and the clunking of the tongue is what I do constantly and she does it more and more.  I am trying to get her to say ” I love you mama” and “YOU ROCK” when we’re playing guitar hero.  Instead, she burps!!

And check out this video of the 3 kids talking.  I was just standing there talking to Erica and happened to catch these little nuggets talking about their colors and then arguing over who is FRESH!  So funny.  Kyla and Willie are sleeping upstairs, they were pretty good tonight so I’m taking them to see Madagascar tomorrow… might as well, it’s not like I have to go to work!!

Anyway, then she was asking if it should be kylamarilyn.com or kylaherlastname.com… and I said no it would have to be kylaknapp.com… so we’ll see.

She took my camera yesterday while she was outside playing on the porch.  She actually did 5 little videos but they will make you dizzy, she hasn’t figured out how to hold the camera yet – she will.

She has a little bit of a cold, allergies are so bad right now we are all stuffed up!!

Witness the cuteness.

Kyla has now figured out how to make video blogs.  We spent the weekend doing random things around the house, and yesterday morning I woke up to a camera in my face – she was recording.  Then she started turning the camera around and talking to it, so she doesn’t even need me to hold it for her anymore!

Here’s the one we did on Saturday.  I was cleaning the frog tank so I had to put Max & Jessica in a bowl.  Kyla likes to touch them, even though I constantly tell her not to…  I feel especially bad about the frog who jumped into the sink… One of the frogs died later that day – I don’t know if it was the one that had jumped into the sink or not.  I had just put warm soapy water in a pan to soak… of course shame on me for telling my kid to put her hand in there, I wasn’t even thinking!  It wasn’t THAT hot, and it was more likely the frog died from the soap… But still I feel bad.  Now whichever one didn’t die (we’re still trying to determine which one it is!) is lonely…

Please don’t call PETA.  It was an accident!!!  I have done really well with these frogs… the fish, not so much, which is why we haven’t gotten any more.

As for Kyla, she asked me this morning if I was going to put her videos on my website… and I said yes.  Then she started talking about the weather and if it was going to be too cold to play outside today… I asked her if she wanted to be a weather girl and do the weather on TV when she grows up and she made a face.  She says, no I don’t think that would be good.

So I said, well what do you want to be when you grow up?

And she says.

“I just wanna be a ROCK STAR!”

You already are nugget.
