I’ve met BNL a few times, this being the most recent a few years ago.

Steven Page is leaving the band to pursue solo things.

Sniff sniff, so sad… snort snort.

It’s apparently an amicable split, but they were considering doing a 20th anniversary tour soon so I’m sure this puts a damper on those plans.

New Kids on the Block will release “The Block” on September 2nd… Here’s another new song off the album, you can buy it on iTunes starting August 12th… I like Summertime better, but one of my friends told me he heard this song earlier today and then said “I’m so gay for NKOTB!”, I think he just means he likes the song and feels kind of gay for liking it.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that!!!!

Cyndi Lauper attempted to perform on CBS’s The Early Show this morning but it didn’t go so well… there were a lot of technical problems and she finally refused to finish performing and walked off stage!  Way to make a comeback!

This is Duffy performing her song “Mercy” on Jay Leno.  I get a lot of requests for this song on my radio show, and the video is on VH-1 and it’s really cool. 

I would say move over Amy Winehouse, but I think she’s taken herself out of the way.

Anyone else really like this song?  It’s fun.

Should I post about music stuff like this?  It’s not really “dirt”, but I follow music and I like to push new artists that I like.  So please comment… I’d like to see more comments – and the comment thing DOES WORK!!  I know there is a glitch that tells you it doesn’t work – I am trying like hell to figure out what it is but I’m getting nowhere… so anyway, your comments do go through.  I just have to moderate them, but when I do you’ll see them in the sidebar.
