Anna Faris on the cover of Arena Magazine.  I know she’s not a huge superstar but I really like her.  She isn’t the world’s most talented actress either, but something about her appeals to me… she just plays these ditzy funny chicks, there’s one movie she’s in where I swear she is playing ME.  But I won’t tell you which one it is or why… Certainly not looking like me in these hot shots!!

Really when was the last time Star Magazine put something on their cover that was actually TRUE?  Or even remotely close to true… I mean I guess now that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer broke up they can’t post any more covers about their upcoming wedding or bun in the oven… and Katie Holmes denied the pregnancy rumors in Glamour Magazine… I mean, they should start picking on Lindsay again, at least the trash about her is somewhat factual!!

Not that I’m trying to defend Brad & Angelina, but really how would Star know who is sleeping where in their damn house??

Jessica Simpson is on the cover of the latest issue of Elle Magazine… She talks about how her dad doesn’t interfere in her relationships, gushes over Tony Romo as usual, and then reveals she was once in an abusive relationship??  She doesn’t say with who…

The dark years of Jessica Simpson also apparently included abuse. She says that her forthcoming album will include a song called “Remember That” by the Nashville songwriters Rachel Proctor and Victoria Banks that she hopes will deliver a message to abused women. “It doesn’t matter how he hurts you,” she sings, “With his hands or with his words/ You don’t deserve it/ It ain’t worth it/ Take your heart and run.”

“I had to record that,” Jessica says. “There’s nothing on my album you’re gonna hear that I don’t relate to or that I haven’t experienced. Because the only way I know how to sing is from life experience.”

“Are you thinking of anybody in particular when you sing that?” I ask.

“That is a personal question that I do want to keep to myself,” she says. “But I know that I sing it with experience.”

“I understand you’ve felt emotionally abused,” I say, “but you’re not telling me that you’ve experienced physical abuse as well, are you?”

She stops to ponder her response. She finally says, “I don’t want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”

It’s just odd because she was so young when she met Nick, and it doesn’t seem like she’d be talking about him… so what actually happened?  Or is she just embellishing to try to sell some country albums??

This week’s issue of OK! Magazine has exclusive pictures of Charlie Sheen’s wedding… all the dirt on Denise Richards and how she feels about it (why does she even care????)

And yes… Cameron Diaz is apparently seeing Paul Sculfor, the model that Jennifer Aniston briefly dated last year – ’til she got too clingy and annoyed him… He’s not such a great dude anyway from what I remember reading about him, former (and perhaps current) cokehead, etc… I’m sure Cameron can handle him though!
