Britney Spears is back in Kentwood, LA for her sister Jamie Lynn’s baby shower… I still can NOT believe they are considering naming this child Lynn(e)!  I can’t wait, you know it’s going to be something cheeeeezilicious!

Britney took a private plane to Kentwood yesterday with her dad.  The baby shower is apparently today.

Well 6 weeks ago the rumor was, it’s a boy!  Now Life & Style claim they have a source that overheard Lynne Spears telling someone it’s going to be a girl… and that Jamie Lynn wants to do the nursery in black, white, and yellow… I’m guessing she has a thing for bumble bees?  That could be cute!

Her due date is apparently June 29, which makes her 7 months along.  This picture was taken almost 2 weeks ago.

As for names, the source told the magazine that Lynne – or Lynn – or maybe they should just drop it down to Lyn to keep the letter-dropping thing going – is one of the names she’s considering… Lame!

There’s Auntie Jamie Lynn Spears with her nephew Sean Preston when he was a baby… I’d never seen that picture of them, but it came up in a Google picture search so I thought I’d share… are they eating a fudgicle?  What a mess :)

Anyway, Jamie Lynn got her GED and now she’s looking into colleges so she can edgucate herrselff.

Britney’s 77 year old grandfather is talking to the tabloids… her whole family is just hungry for the spotlight huh?

Anyway, her father’s father June Austin Spears (since when is June a dude’s name???) talked to the NY Daily News and claims Lynne is keeping Jamie Lynn in hiding because she’s in denial about the pregnancy and doesn’t want Jamie Lynn photographed… That’s why she had her on the cover of a magazine with “I’M PREGNANT” all over it…

If only she had that much control over her daughter BEFORE she got knocked up!
