Heath Ledger dies… Christian Bale gets arrested and is in all kinds of messy family drama… and now Morgan Freeman gets hurt in a bad car accident… Is The Dark Knight cursed??

The whole Heath Ledger thing is getting REALLY strange now that Mary Kate Olsen is refusing to answer any questions unless she is granted immunity… immunity from what???  What did she do???  What does she know???  CRAZY!!!!

I haven’t seen the movie, but my boyfriend saw it and says he thinks Heath will win an Oscar posthumously…

Breaking News from TMZ, the toxicolgy report has been released.  Official cause of death: Acute Intoxication… Basically they found a whole lotta stuff in his system, the combination of which took his life.  He mixed way too many prescription drugs.  It’s not clear how much of each was in his system, but even in small doses if you mix the wrong stuff you can die.

I just posted this reply to the comments on my posting of the link to the Heath Ledger Drug Video… Because yes, it’s pretty much known as the Heath Ledger Drug Video – there are people doing drugs and talking about drugs in the video… Anyway, I’ve gotten a ton of comments and emails and messages from people who are mad, or have “lost respect” for me because I posted the link to the footage… Take a minute to read what I have to say… I think you’re missing the point and my feelings on this whole thing!

Here’s my response to the comments…

I really don’t get why there is so much outrage over this. There wasn’t this much outrage over the posting of naked pictures of Vanessa Hudgens!! And that’s a young girl completely exposed!!! But someone leaks footage of a dead actor and it’s so wrong and unethical… please. What about the pictures of Anna Nicole with her dead son??? Those were far worse and far more disturbing… but because Heath was a pretty well respected actor to begin with, and his life hadn’t already been all over the tabloids and belittled, it’s “outrageous”…

Yes, his death – regardless of what caused it – was tragic… anyone who dies before their time, especially when they have young children, is tragically lost… but this video footage isn’t the most horrible thing to ever be released, nor is it all that incriminating!

I’m not posting it and saying “oooh look at Heath, he must have been a total coke head, he must have been doing drugs and he obviously had a secret drug battle…”

DID I?

In fact, I believe I said the OPPOSITE – and you’re right – this video is ridiculous – it doesn’t really show him doing or saying anything all that horrible!!!

If you go back and read my post from last week when I posted the promo with a little bit of the footage in it, I DEFENDED Heath!!

I’m going to copy this and post it to the main page, and put a link to my other posts on the matter, because you’re accusing me of saying what all the other tabloids are saying – AND I AM ACTUALLY SAYING LOOK AT THE VIDEO AND SEE JUST HOW RIDICULOUS THIS SMEAR CAMPAIGN IS!!

Seriously, stop faking outrage at the wrong thing… The video is not SHOCKING, it’s stupid. Heath’s not shown doing ANYTHING… and if he had done something, would they have cut it out?? NO! Heath didn’t snort cocaine in the video, and he probably didn’t do it that night… he talks about how he used to smoke 5 joints a day but HE DOESN’T ANYMORE!!! So freaking what if the guy liked to smoke weed??? And he’s talking about his daughter a LOT, he was a great dad, and a good person, clearly, and my posting this video has nothing to do with anyone’s attempt to prove he was a drug addict or a bad guy!!

Does anyone get that???

And here’s a copy and paste of what I wrote last week when I first posted about the video and posted the promo video…

We’ll see… I mean, if the guy smoked a bunch of weed, so what… I don’t necessarily condone that, but it doesn’t mean he overdosed or killed himself by any means.  Even if he did some coke – which I definitely despise – it doesn’t mean he overdosed or killed himself.  The most likely explanation to me – he was sick, couldn’t rest, and took medications he shouldn’t have been taking together and it had tragic consequences… but from what we’ve learned of him it just doesn’t seem like he was a serious drug addict or someone who wanted out.  Just the fact that he was on that video acknowledging that he should be upstairs with his girl and baby shows he had a conscience about it… Of course the people closest to him know the truth – I’m sure Michelle Williams, Jake, whoever he was closest to, know in their hearts what went wrong but we’ll never know.

I just think it is really sick how all these news agencies are doing everything in their power to beef up the scandal side of it…

A video taken at a SAG Awards after party in 2006 shows Heath Ledger talking to other celebrities admitting he smoked 5 joints a day for 20 years… he also says his girlfriend is going to kill him because they just had a baby three months ago, and it apparently shows a man snorting drugs off a table.

Heath Ledger was an “old soul” in a young man’s body, his grieving family said in the newspaper The Western Australian.

Ledger’s mother Sally Ledger-Bell said the family would always be there for his daughter.

 Heath Ledger apparently had pneumonia… and his family claims there is no way he would take his own life and that his death was accidental… But early reports from the NYPD on the scene state there were pills “strewn about” the room… Doesn’t make sense.

Jake Gyllenhaal is his daughter Matilda’s godfather.

Heath Ledger was found dead in his Soho home around 3:30 this afternoon.  His housekeeper found him.  NYPD say they don’t believe it was a crime…

OD?  Suicide?  Was he ill?  Some sources are saying “possibly drug related”… we’ll find out soon.

He has a 2 year old daughter with his former fiance Michelle Williams.  So sad!!
