This is ridiculous.  Ellen DeGeneres is going to be the 4th American Idol judge.  That show is my crack, and it just got a whole lot awesomer!!!

I know awesomer isn’t a word… but Ellen is going to be a hilarious addition to the show… Paula who???  Actually, I think they could do without Kara, she’s so meat and potatoes, at least Paula has spunk and slur and all that stuff. 

Ellen on Idol, what do you think?  Good or lame?  Will she steal the show?  And just wait until she and Simon go at it!!!  Brilliant!!!

Apparently there isn’t one!

Jeff Archuleta, overbearing – and apparently oversexed – father of cutie American Idol patootie David Archuleta, was just fined for soliciting a prostitute at a massage parlor in Utah.  Wrong place, wrong time, the place was targeted – not him – but he happened to be there… $582 later he’s all good.

She was suppsoed to be second… this is just CRAZY!  She is like Pink Kelly Clarkson Avril Lavigne all in one – I really like her!!  Danny Geeky SUCKED last night, I’m sorry but what he did to Steven Tyler was criminal!!

And Kris is just boring… I do hope he is the runner up tho, Danny coming close would be like Taylor Hicks f’d up!

This is a little freaky.

When I first started this blog, back in November of  2005, I was in contact with an Idol auditioner named Miranda Tozier-Robbins who had made it in front of the judges at the Season 5 Boston auditions.  She blogged about her experiences HERE.

She had some interesting inside info, so I linked to her blog and featured her in a couple of posts.  Later, she friended me on My Space.  Once in a while I’d get a message from her–at one point she was attending a film and visual arts school near where I live–but no major contact.

Last week she sent me a message, said she was on a “paparazzi gig” and wondered if I had any contacts to Britney Spears…

Michael Sarver was booooted off American Idol tonight.  He needed to go, he did well in his “they could save me” performance but he still needed to go home.  I have already had enough of the fake deliberation and we haven’t decided nonsense.  There is no way they were saving him.  Had they opted to save him, there would have to be a re-vote to override the judge’s save.  Enough already.   It’s annoying.  Especially this early on and with these obvious choices to go home.

The poor Justin Timberlake look-a-like (Matt I think) looked like he was going to cry from the moment he was told he might not be so safe… Then again, both he and Justin kind of have that about to cry look a lot.

What about Megan not coming close to going home?  She was AWFUL last week.  I think her outfits are keeping her alive.  She seems to be really uncomfortable and awkward in her own skin.  I don’t think she realized how damn hot she is until recently, she’s adorable and pretty.

The Allison girl is like what would happen if Pink and Kelly Clarkson somehow had a baby.  Really, she has a Kelly face and voice sometimes, but then she has a Pink voice and some Pink style.  Total Pink & Kelly combo – I hope she does well.

Adam was awesome, he probably got the most votes – I wish they would say that too, who got the most, that would be cool… anyway, it was nice to see him in a pair of manly pants instead of skinny jeans last night.

That’s all I have to say about that.

Stevie Wonder was incredible too.  I cranked up Overjoyed!!
