According to the Fox TV website, American Idol voting is open to people within the US, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.  Anyone voting via telephone, online (via Facebook), or via AT & T text must do so with an area code/account registered within the US or it’s territories.

A former contestant who calls himself “The Revolution” has uncovered some serious evidence of voter fraud in Jessica Sanchez’s favor, complete with the little twit re-tweeting messages sent to her by voters in The Philippines (where her mom is from)…

And check this out - info on an Idol fan board about how to download software and manipulate the voting system outside of the country, specifically how to do it from The Philippines.  Apparently Nigel Lithgoe and others were made aware of the international voting problem and claim those calls are not counted – but if the people voting for Sanchez have software that makes it appear as if the calls are coming from within the US they will certainly be counted… right?

UPDATE: Since I posted this last night I have been bombarded with messages from angry Jessica Sanchez fans… They are all pointing out this guy’s audition, saying I shouldn’t take him seriously because of what a goof he was in front of the judges.

Yeah, he’s one of those… BUT, does that mean there isn’t something shady going on? And I understand there have been issues with robo-calling, international voting, etc. all throughout the show but this seems to be a bit more excessive, and in favor of one person, than in the past. Plus, what really gets me, is she encouraged it by acknowledging and re-tweeting the messages from the people scamming the voting system from outside the country.

Oh, and one more site with information on scamming the system – and reassurance that even though Idol rules state your votes from outside the US won’t count, they do.

I have no idea how many votes she is winning by, but it’s always been really close and when the President of The Philippines is commenting on what a fan he is I have to believe that means there are a significant number of people in that country who are voting.

UPDATE: A major news source in The Philippines published a story today telling the people they CAN vote for Jessica Sanchez – even though Idol people say voting is only open to US and it’s territories.  And in the article, the Consulate General of the country is telling all of the people there to vote for the Filipino girl…

Now I’m being called a “racist” for this.  Oh, because Phillip Phillips is white and doesn’t have an entire country and race of people voting for him just because he’s their white boy?  Please.  It’s been brought to my attention that this type of fraud out of the UK may have kept Hollie in the competition longer than she should have been as well… I wondered why she was still around.  She doesn’t annoy me the way Jessica does but I don’t think she’s nearly as good as some of the other people either.

I just saw this poll on The Hollywood Gossip and I can’t believe it!!!  They polled over 7,000 people so far and Jessica Sanchez is by far the favorite to win!!!

She’s got over 56% of the vote.  Phillip Phillips is far behind in second with 19%, followed by Joshua Ledet at 14% and 9% for Hollie Cavanaugh.

SERIOUSLY??

I’m sorry but Phillip and Joshua are by far more talented than the girls.  Sure they have beautiful singing voices but I can’t see either one of them producing a full album that sells or doing a solo tour!!!

The judges wasted their save on Snoozefest Sanchez weeks ago and they should have saved Elise who is a much better performer.  Jessica looks like a little girl playing dress up half the time… She hasn’t nailed anything but boring ballads the entire time she’s been on the show and I just can’t stand her!

American Idol producers have handed Kara DioGuardi a pink slip! 

So will they can Randy Jackson too?  Yo yo yo dawg I think they should keep him!

Ellen left too… she wanted out.

Now there’s talk of J-Lo and Steven Tyler being the replacements but nothing confirmed yet.

What about the Jessica Simpson thing?  Apparently Papa Joe has been trying to help her get the gig… she’d at least be more interesting to watch than J-Lo!

Michael Lynche left his hotel in NYC yesterday with his baby girl Laila Rose and his wife Christa.  They were actually in St. Petersburg, FL today for Mike Lynche day… they gave him the key to the city and the fans went crazy!

What’s up with the “Adios” pot leaf jacket?  What’s the message here?  I just realized I wrote pot “leave” instead of leaf… haha, like I’m high or something!!  Anyway I seriously just tried to find out what his jacket is all about and I can’t find anything!
