The Pirates of the Caribbean star shares a blood line with the royal family. Here’s the catch, it’s really far back… Depp and the Queen have the same great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather – that’s 19 greats!). That really means that the star and the Queen are 20th cousins.
“You have to back more than 500 years to reach the point where [Depp's] ancestors become royal.” Dr. Barratt told the Sunday Mirror. “I believe the balance of probability is that there is indeed a link between Depp and the royals. [Although] I doubt we’ll ever be able to prove it 100 percent.”
