   Whitney is still human. I would think that she’s allowed to have a bad day or two. There is not one person that doesn’t. I think that we the people would be more apt to read tabloids and other crazy reading material if the media folks would report something with some substance. I love Whitney; when she was up, down, and now that she’s back, I love her even more.

   I never hae animosity for people who bottom out on substance abuse abuse because it is a disease. However, i fthey do nothing to stop their disease in its track and make sure it stays stopped one day at a time, I avoid them in the media or in person. The question in my mind is whether she really is clean and sober. When she talked, there was always a delay between the comment of the host and her response. Her affect was flat, meaning she didn’t show any emotion. It looked to me like she was on a pile of downers. I hope not, as God gave her a wonderful voice – but I am scared that she has damaged her brain so much with crack that she cannot have fun without it. I have heard from doctors that this is a problem with long term crack use. I was extremely impressed with absolute absence of nervousness, a quality of a natural star, and I like the song and think her voice will get back to where it was with practice. I wish her all the luck in the world

   First thing is that she has too stop being in denial of having a drug problem, sugar coating it and putting all of the blame on BobbY Brown… She denies that she smoke crack, said she just stay in bed for months… said it Bobby’s ideal for the the mess of a tv show… everything was someones fault besides Whitney, I see that she is on the front of Ebony Magazine, I glanced at it but for the first time wouldn’t buy it because I seen some words that said, my mother saved ny life, or somehing like that. I remember before her father died she had cut ties because of the drug use and I thought I read that when he died she didn’t attend his funeral, her mother tried to step in several times but Whitney didn’t allow her to interfer with her and Bobby’s life at that time. Now I feel and it’smy opinion and it really doesn’t amount to a hill of beans but it’smine, Whitney I feel is still getting high and that maybe some of the problems with her voice, she has the look of that look of a person getting high and I should know that look of so well… I see often enough in my younger sister who too is in denial of having a drug problem. I wish her the best, I think she should take off the rest of this year, heal her mind,body and soul as well as voice, then come back next year and let us see the Whitney that we grew to love all of those years.

   C’mon, people, Whitney just went through physical, mental & emotional HELL. She’s NOT
   going to rebound overnight. Just try to walk in ONE of her shoes & see how YOU’D re-
   bound. I saw her perform & she looked physically healthy & she sang GREAT. I was won-
   dering if all the drug abuse, esp. crack, would affect her vocal chords, but I was happily
   surprised that SO SOON after FINALLY going back home to her family that she was even
   READY to perform in public.

   Whitney needs to get her true emotions back with psych doctors care, attend to prayer and meditation and grow thicker skin if she is going to go public with her career again.
   I think the drugs, mental breakdown from overwork and awful marriage, troubles with raising her child while doped up and dealing with Bobby Brown wasting her money and bringing his family into her home to raise, forcing her on a reality show to humilate and squandering years and money, losing about everything she earned, numbed her inside and now she is just surviving day by day., recalling the horrors of it all., not willing to forgive herself and moving on to better things yet. Give her time and some room to succeed.
