Auditions for American Idol season 9 start August 6th… and Paula Abdul has yet to be offerred a new contract!  Uh, I think it’s fair to say that if her new manager is speaking the truth, she probably won’t be coming back… LOOK OUT KARA DIOGUARDI, sleep with one eye open girlfriend!

Really, as much as we tease Paula, I think we’ll miss her!!!

None of this is official, they haven’t stated either way whether or not she’s coming back, but as of right now Paula is hurt and angry – for them to just drag this out and say nothing!!!???

Lindsay Lohan is taking the law into her own hands with the paparazzi… she’s fighting back with a squirt gun!  Let the supersoaker fights begin!

I would say maybe she peed in there, but then the paps would take it straight to a lab for drug testing!!!  OMG we could so make that up haha!

She looks like she’s having fun.  I saw a promo for her ABC Family Movie “Labor Pains” – remember when she was walking around with a prego belly a while ago, well it was for an ABC TV movie… crazy a family channel took a chance on her, the movie looks cute!

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden enjoying the last few weeks of being parents of one!  Can’t wait to see – and we don’t have any idea if it’s a boy or a girl because they didn’t find out.

Laura Ling & Euna Lee are two American journalists being held in North Korea.  They were working on a project in China and were accused of crossing the border into North Korea.  They were arrested on March 17th and were found guilty 2 months later.  They have been sentenced to 12 years in a labor prison.  These are “hell” on earth places.  These young women have families and Euna has a little girl. They have not seen their families and have barely been allowed contact with anyone.  There seems to be some hope that they will be let go, and I’d like to think our government is doing everything it can to negotiate their release… It is just extremely scary because these people truly despise us and have no value for human life.

Laura is the sister of former View co-host Lisa Ling.  They have been holding vigils all over the country.  Laura was able to call her sister Lisa the other day and said she is being treated fairly and they are staying in a guest house.  Hopefully that is true.

There does seem to be some hope as of yesterday, however I’m sure most of what is being negotiated will not be made public until they are released.
