So exciting! I remember when we first moved into our house and got a washer and dryer. I used to put off doing laundry when we lived in an apartment, but for the last 2.5 years I've never procrastinated doing it, except maybe when I got my wisdom teeth out. :) Enjoy!

P.S. I have a great recipe for laundry soap if you want it!!! It is environmentally friendly (in fact, I got it off the National Geographic website!). It is also extremely cheap - like 2 bucks for every 10 gallons!

A washer and dryer are well worth elation. I rent and move quite often and will no longer even consider a place without at least hookups. Nothing sucks more than dragging your laundry to the mat, spending $20 in quarters every week, then hauling it all back indoors. The only redeeming value in it was that it gave me an hour to read every Monday. My sister had someone steal a whole load of her socks and underwear out of the dryer at a laundromat when she was in college. Ewwwww.....
