I think it is extremely disrepectful and the rest of the world will look down on us for it. Bashing ANY President in front of the entire world should not be tolerated. This is why our kids have no respect for anything or anybody. (By the way, I am not a Bush supporter)
I don’t mind bush. Infact, I have A LOT of respect for him… obviously he messed some things up especially with the economy but in regards to war, I have a lot of respect for him. If some country launches an attack on your country, you fight back. period. If you didn’t… I seriously believe we would have had a lot more terrorist attacks. The fact that we didn’t have any since 9/11 says something good… and not to mention we got rid one of the most powerful, horrible people in the world. I’m not excited for Obama in the least… I am very scared actually because being Jewish, and knowing he has connections and dinners and been to church with America haters and Jewish haters makes me very scared. And I think it’s crazy how they are treating Bush, John McCain, Sarah Palin… if someone talked the way they do to Obama how they talk those people, they’d be scolded. If someone threw a shoe at Obama, they would be thrown in jail. No one tolerates it for Obama… but everyone is cheering for everybody else who gets hit with a shoe or god forbid something worse. The whole thing is ridiculous.
I am not a Bush-lover by any means, but I am so sick and tired of Bush-haters. Acting like immature cry-babies about a President of our country is damaging to America. I hope that having a new President will shut all the Bush-haters up – they are just plain annoying…. I guess we’ll see….
I can’t tell you how nice it is to see people that actually defend Bush. Dana, you are just being immature and disrespectful but you aren’t to blame…a lot of the country is acting that way right now. No matter who the president is, there should be respect. I did not vote for Obama and the fact that he is president scares me but I will be respectful and supportive because that’s my job as an American citizen. Plus, you didn’t see everything that goes on in Iraq, you didn’t see all of the improvement there. My boyfriend is/was a Marine and he was sent home due to being injured in Iraq…you wouldn’t believe some of the amazing things that have happened over there but you are probably too busy jumping on the Obama bandtrain to even think about the positive things that came out of Bush’s presidency.
I think this is totally imature and I am not a Bush supporter either. People still need to repect their president and stop acting like children. Ugh, I’ll be glad when everything settles back down and everyone shuts up!
I bet Bush is so glad that his term has ended, he has recieved so much crap from everyone. I agree that no matter who the president is you should still respect them. I honestly think that Bush had the best intentions all along. I’m not an Obama supporter but I hope he does well.
i’m a democrat, however not crazy about obama but still more happy with him then mccain. and bush deserves all the crap talking he gets. you can call me immature all you want i call it like i see it. bush did absolutely nothing good for us.
wow, yeah, that’s real classy. People need to learn some respect. Have we had another terrorist attack on our soil? No, so give him some credit. I’m sure Obama will never make a wrong decision.
Get over it. Bush was a great president. He did what was right for this country. It doesn’t matter what people think off you. The most important thing about being president is protecting this country. Let me ask you did you see another attack on america??? NO!!! He did a great job.
We didn’t have any more terrorist attacks since 9/11, but not because Bush went into Iraq. If you’ll recall…he didn’t invade Iraq until about 18 months after 9/11. So why didn’t we get any in the interim?
BTW…Iraq was the WRONG COUNTRY. You really love Bush? A man who had the opportunity to rally our country like never before after 9/11 and instead told us to pay no attention to what was happening and go shopping…and in doing that tore the country apart. I am an Obama supporter, but not in the insane sort of way. The man asked our country to go back to service and hard work and parenting and the core values that make our country great. I’m 31-years-old and that’s the first time I recall a President asking something of me and my country…that was very emotional to me.
Um… I don’t think anyone claims that going into Iraq is the reason we haven’t had any terrorist attacks since 9/11 – it’s a simple fact: since 9/11 there have been no more attacks on American soil. If Bush gets the BLAME for everything wrong in our country right now, then he should get some CREDIT for the fact that we have been safe for 7 years.
Not only should Bush be brought up on war crimes, but he should be impeached for lying to the American people about the situation in Iraq. Anyone who thinks that he did the right thing about the economy, the Iraq disaster, or antyhing else deserved to have their citizenship stripped for sheer stupidity. Give Bush the boot, but give him a lengthy prison sentence first.
I find this ridiculous and immature. Seriously, half the things you hear about Bush aren’t even true, and the true stuff where he really shows him self as president isn’t displayed in the media because they are primarly liberal. Show some respect, I’m sure you couldn’t do his job half as well.
So I guess those of you against Bush reacting to the act of cowards on 9/11 would do nothing if someone went over to your house and killed all your family. I guess I’d be the only person stupid enough to want justice. Shame on me…I can get a new family anytime…
Melissa- Contrary to what Fox news is telling you, it really isn’t fair and balanced. Try listening to a real news station sometime.
M&M- So… if someone broke into your house and killed your family, you would find out who they were and then attack their next-door neighbors? You’re as dumb as Bush.
