It isn’t often that I get choked up over things I hear on the news… There’s just so many horrible things that happen, but earlier today when I was reading something else about it and looking at pictures I almost started to cry for these people. It’s just especially horrific.
The mother’s husband is now the prime suspect, his alibi isn’t solid at all, and he was skipping his anger management classes… Monsters like this guy are the reason why the majority of violent criminals should just be freaking put to death. Better him than these 3 innocent people. Criminals have way too many rights – jails don’t need to be overcrowded, we should just start offing them, really. He’d already tried to kill someone before and was in prison for SEVEN YEARS for it… lot of good that did.
I hope Illinois has the death penalty… it does, but there is a moratorium on it…

2Wow! What a sick person! That’s extremly sad. I agree with you though Dana, prision is way too easy nowa days. The death penalty should start being used a little more often I think.

4I agree, this guy should never have been let out in the first place… or because he was released, but seeing that he was skipping Anger Management classes, he should’ve been put back in the slammer for not dealing with things… it’s so sad that this even had to happen, because it was entirely preventable if the proper measures were taken.
Our “justice” system in Canada is ridiculous, too, to be honest… they jailed an elderly woman for protesting the building of a highway yet they don’t keep in jail sex offenders etc? It’s completely heinous.

5And executing him is going to do what, exactly? It won’t bring back the people he killed, but instead, add more bodies to the death toll. The death penalty isn’t justice; it’s vengeance. And, lest we forget, there hasn’t been a trial yet. Innocent until proven guilty.

7he is not a suspect, he is a person of interest! And he didn’t do it, if he did, he had help from the mother! You are not up to date on this at all. Read the mom’s myspace page. watch the mom’s plea for the boy. She had something to do with it! So if William did it, the mom helped! I don’t think william was involved at all period! I think the parents did it or Julia and someone else! You are totally wrong!
