The lovely faces of Jessica Simpson on stage. She performed her new country hits (sarcasm) at the Niagara Falls Fallsview Casino last night. No word on whether or not she was booed of stage yet, but those faces crack me up!
I actually think that dress is cute, but she’s totally trying too hard to be country.

2That’s not a dress…that’s a Sunday-come-to-meetin’ dress, made from a tablecloth, and it illustrates EXACTLY why she will struggle with country. She has a decent enough voice, when she isn’t moaning to beat a porn star, but her thought (ack, isn’t that an oxymoron…thought/Jessica in the same sentence??) process is flawed. Country isn’t just cornbread and hoedowns…just frickin’ sing the song and stop dressing like the Sears catalog before an outing to the outdoor facilities. People.are.not.dumb. and they can hear…just give them the goods…and let them decide. Stop pandering and condescending.
