Gwen Stefani gave birth to a baby boy earlier today… and then named him ZUMA NESTA ROCK ROSSDALE!
What? I thought they were trying to come up with a strong name to live up to “Kingston” – so I guess since Preston is already taken (Sean Preston Federline of course!) – they just decided to give up on a prestigious name and went with Moon-Unit-esque… and Gwen must like Nestea or something, that’s all I thought of when I saw the name, the chick taking the Nestea Ice Tea plunge. But whatever.
And yes, they did put the “name” Rock in there!
Thoughts?????????
Those ?????s are dedicated to the people who commented because they have issues with my usage and apparent over-use of punctuation.
Perhaps I should hire a proofreader.

1Nesta is Bob Marley’s middle name, I know someone whose son has Nesta as middle name, but they refer to him as Nesta. Strange…

3That’s a weird name all together. Ifeel for the kid because I thought Kingston was actually a pretty cool name.

7It’s the Jamaican Connection. Kingston is capital of Jamaica & Robert Nesta Marley was from there too. I could live without the Zuma (Montezuma) as a lot of name experts say it has FEMININE connatations!!!!!

10I just found out yesterday from a friend of mine that both Gwen and Gavin are hard core Bob Marley fans and that Nesta was his middle name, and Kingston was where he lived. Zuma though….. that reminds me of Mazda commercials.

11well, yeah, she’s a reggae fan.
All her earliest work with No Doubt was ska punk.
Zuma Beach is still one the great SoCal beaches south of Malibu
