OK anyone who “knows” me knows I am a toy freak, I love dolls, especially Cabbage Patch Kids (the new 25th Anniversary ones just like the originals are popping up all over the place just not here yet… I want one with freckles so bad!!!!)… but really anything little girls play with, I love.  Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie, Polly Pockets, My Little Pony… One of the things I enjoy most about having a little girl is shopping for toys and playing with them… so I got an email a few weeks ago from this girl who makes super fun jewelry using toys and little figures!!!  She’s really young too, at 21 she’s already built a huge business off something she started doing as a hobby when she was babysitting!!  Love it.

Her company is called Alter Ego, the website is www.alteregojewelry.net, and her name is Erika.  Here are just a few of her creations… you can contact her through the website and see more pictures there… Her pieces sell for $60 to $300 and all kinds of celebrities are wearing her stuff!!
