   Dana,

   I think you (like everyone else that blogs about celebrities for a living) are being very insensitive about Amy Winehouse being diagnosed with emphysema; it;s one of the leading causes of death in the U.S. and the number grows every single day. Aside from being the way she is, and living the way she has; she is a powerhouse of talent mixed with grit and emotion. It’s not right you say things like “she loves the crack” and “I doubt it if this will be a wakeup call”. I mean, do you know what she and her family are going through right now, what if someone you love was going through the same thing? I think it is very closed-minded and insensitive for you to make statements like that. Yes, Amy lives her life without abandon and yes she possesses so much talent that she most likely is overwhelmed by it and does not how to deal, but in times like these, bloggers like you need to stop trying to jump on the “Lets all rag on Amy because she was caught smoking crack again” bandwagon and show some support. Maybe this is god’s way of healing her, and allowing her to take care of herself and hone in that talent he bestowed on her the day she came into this world.

   I understand it’s your job to ‘blast’ celebs day to day in one fashion or another, but I think in times like these, bloggers…i mean….people like you need to be sensitive and to a least show some compassion. Your readers won’t like you any less for it.
