How nuts is THIS story! You’ve probably already heard it… but I was like, hanging out with Matchbox Twenty, earlier so I didn’t get to the dirt all day… They were great by the way, I’ll post the interview tomorrow…
Anyway, Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder Civil aka “MY BLAKE!” overdosed this weekend… of course on heroin… in jail… how was he getting it?
Amy’s been signing the pictures and bringing them to him every time she goes to see him… and he’s giving them away in exchange for heroin! Nobody knows if she is aware of what is going on or if she just thinks his jail buddies are big fans… but it’s all over now because Blake’s not allowed to have visitors for a while.
My thought was – how much can an Amy Winehouse autograph actually be worth, so I Googled it – didn’t find much – but that one right there sold for $95… that’s in US, it was 65 euro… and I don’t know how long ago it sold. So I guess that’s a pretty good deal?
Blake and five other inmates were found “writhing in agony” on the floor of their cells after apparently doing heroin mixed with other toxins… They all barely made it.
This is going to sound really awful, but why bother saving their lives? Six less useless human beings on the planet if you ask me… Seriously, I know they’re in the UK but the same goes for people here… if you’re locked up and you want to do things that could kill you, by all means… someone’s paying for their food and shelter, and the drug tests, and the guards, and everything else… want to off yourself in jail? GO FOR IT! We’ll let you die…
Call me cruel all you want, these people are scum!!

1You can get drugs in jail. Guys usually have to do something for another guy to get it (as in oral sex)…but the drugs are there. You can get it from guards and stuff. Those guys like Blake will be jonesing so bad for heroin, that they’ll actually do that stuff…how gross for a straight guy, right? And with a stranger, with no protection. Yuck! And $95 won’t get you that much heroin…so maybe Blake has been having to do other things…ewwwwwww.
I really hate Blake, anyway, though. I hope Amy stays the hell away from that guy!!! I wouldn’t be that sorry if something happens to him, even though I usually have a lot of compassion for drug addicts, being in nursing and all. But seriously…heroin addicts are some of the worst.

2I really do think that is rude what she wrote….. about letting them die!! That is taking it a little to far!!!! “Dana” has never met these people…have no idea who their loved ones are…doesn’t know every situation that they have been in during their lives! I just can’t believe that someone can be so heartless and say that about someones…..son…brother…husband.. best-friend….etc!!i don’t think she would like that if someone said that about someone in her life…. maybe someone specail to her like her daughter!! Kind of disrespectful!!!!!! SHEEESH!!!

3well being a nurse myself…
I think that its awful that she’s let herself waste away, ratting her hair up in that big ol awful mess..she was really pretty that picture. I have to keep going up and looking at it.
and honestly, jails do checks for drugs and other things. if they get a hint on anything they check everything. but people in jail obviously find ways to get things they want, and they even make alcohol from fermenting things and such. when they want it bad enough..they get it. but you’d think this prison would be checking visitors and checking cells if its this much going in. I find the jail in fault
and seriously…let them kill themselves. now taxpayers pay outta pocket to make these idiots better.

4Dana – I agree with you – it sounds to me that anonymous up there probably has a loved one themselves sitting in prison and that’s probably why they have compassion. But my husband is a police officer so I hear and see alot of stuff that the normal public doesn’t. This world is falling to shit and it’s because of all the crap that’s sitting in prison – I am going to sound VERY heartless right now – when I’m really not – I am a very loving a caring person – but something needs to be done. I’m sorry – but I really think we need to take some of the shitheads out – so I agree – let them die – especially if they are stupid enough to do something like that themselves.

5I think if you have to come here and bitch about someone’s opinions… you should at least not post without a name. Talk about lack of balls.
My daddy says “opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one”

6i agree with dana! “anonymous 1″ obviously the people doing the drugs in jail don’t care about their family or they wouldn’t be in the situation they are in! seriously we’re paying for these people to be in jail and when they overdose our tax money pays for their medical bills??? i don’t think thats right … and it doesn’t matter whats happened in their life..they are in jail to be rehabilitated! not to smuggle drugs in!! believe me you can get over an addiction! my brother did…i had no respect for him while he was on drugs and wished he was in jail!
if they can’t help themselves why should we put the money and effort into caring for them!!!

8Must be an old picture of Amy. She looks cute here and not skinney and scraggely.

9That picture of Amy is insane – to see how much seh has changed since she began doing drugs.
I agree with Dana… Blake isn’t some kind of upstanding citizen while he is on drugs or in jail for that matter. So instead of allowing him to stay on drugs in jail having everything paid for for him let’s let him do what he is trying to do and kill himself. Seriously – most addicts want to die at some point of their addiction and this might be his.
I hope Amy stays the hell away from him.

10I agree about scumbags deserving not to be saved after injecting themselves with random toxic bullshot. However, there are people out there that are put in jail for the sometimes trivial domestic crap drama that goes hand with drug abuse that need to be detoxed safely and properly before they serve their time. If you have ever seen anyone who has deen through detox from opiates, it is not pleasant and they need medical attention first. Thats where the shooting up of anything in hopes of feeling better might get the best of you. Then after all that tax money spent to get someone well and they still shoot up in jail….Fuck em!

11I actually have a family member who is going through what her husband is. They are in jail right now and is somehow getting a hold of the stuff. We all love this person, but if he doesn’t help himself, there’s not much we can do. Sucks, but it’s true.

12Dana, that is absolutely disgusting about you saying that Blake and other heroin addicts should die. It’s absolutely dispicable that you would rather have other human beings die than pay a SMALL amount in taxes to keep them in jail. Admit it: the taxes that you alone pay to help keep jails running don’t even make a dent compared to other taxes. That’s beside the point anyway. Addiction is a DISEASE. Obviously you know nothing about heroin or drugs in general. Someone who is addicted goes through physically horrifying withdrawal including unbelievable pain throughout their body, severe vomiting, and other symptoms I’m sure you wouldn’t like to have. While I would never condone drug use, I sympathize for Blake and I hope he can clean up his act. This is exactly why putting a drug addict in jail is never the right choice–they need to go to REHAB where they can receive the treatment they need to get off drugs.
The bottom line is that you should be completely ashamed that you would wish death on someone for no good reason. I’ve disagreed with you in the past, but I literally gasped with shock when I read your comments on this post. I will NOT be reading your blog again.

to clarify I wanna ask the person who talked about people being thrown in jail for “petty domestic “crap drama?
first off, what do you consider petty domestic crap drama? My ex went to jail for slamming me into a wall and giving me a concussion and a nice ambulance ride to the hospital,so really, I dont find that petty. yes there are some people in jail that deserve to be there
as someone once said “jail isn’t for nice people”

16I don’t know anyone who isn’t aware of the fact that heroin is bad… most people who try it for the first time know damn well what they’re getting themselves into, they just don’t care. Of course there are those cases where people are born addicted to it or try it really young or whatever, but the majority of people who get wrapped up in that know full well where it’s going to lead and they just really don’t care… if they’re depressed or life has been tough, oh freaking well… I don’t know statistics, but I’m pretty sure that most people jonesing for a fix become so desperate they’ll steal from their families, friends, or strangers… someone close to me was the victim of a riculous and costly theft by a heroin addict he tried to help when he saw the guy had car troubles… that act of kindness cost him THOUSANDS so some worthless junkie could shove a needle in his neck!! I’d definitely rather that guy die (in jail or otherwise) of an overdose than end up back on the street where he can steal and make someone else’s life hell for a while…
Sorry if you disagree, although I have a feeling you’ll be back ;)

17I have to say I almost agree with dana. I have family that have addictions and I’ve worried, been concerned, felt sorry for them but after a really long time of watching them keep feeding that addiction and not doing anything about it…you get tired of worrying and caring because they do not. the closest person in my life with this problem is my own father. I didn’t talk to him for three years because I could not handle it anymore. After 25 years of dealing with it I was done. You know he’s finally realizing he’s got a problem. Sometimes you just have to be a little uncaring and give a little tough love and if that doesn’t work…you’re on your own.

18I came back to see if you responded to my post, however this is the last time I will visit your blog. Disappointing, because I did like it, but I can’t possibly support someone who thinks in the horrible way you do about something like this. I’ll be letting my friends know as well. And believe me, there’s plenty of other blogs for me to read, I don’t need this one.

20and point being..do you know how many people go to “rehab” to come back out into the real world just to use again?
rehab doesn’t do shit for some people, face it. addictions are hard to toss, and if you have to come here, to a gossip website, to bitch at someone for their opinions then I guess you’re better than everyone else right?

23HAHA “I will no longer be supporting your site but HIIII I’m here to check and see what people wrote in response to my ignorant post!!!” I swear some people. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but as far as the withdrawal symptoms go…Amy went through them all…was STILL going through them when she performed for the Grammy’s…and she’s fine. She didn’t overdose or go ape shit and nearly cause her own death. It’s not sad that people go through that stuff, because they chose to be in that situation by trying it in the first place, as many of you have already said. I know that there are SOME/very few people in prison who don’t deserve to be there(i.e. one of my best friends), but for the most part, from what my friend has told me of the other people rotting away in there, there isn’t much humanity in those people and no, they don’t deserve any of our tax dollars, regardless of how small the amount is. So yeah… I’m with Dana and a majority of people on here… let the bastards die. They obviously don’t care what they’re doing to themselves, why should we care?

24Drug addiction is not a disease!! Its a choice! Just like obesity is a choice to eat too much and not exercise enough, just like people who are materialistic can choose to shoplift, just like an alcoholic chooses to drink and just like a smoker chooses to light up. You can excuse it any way you would like but ultimately we are all responsible for our own choices in life. If you choose to drive dangerously your risking your life, if you choose to do heroin your risking your life. Why should there be room for sympathy? If I smoke for 20 years, why should anyone feel sorry for me if I get emphysema? Just wondering!

25ASHLEY…..my name is ASHLEY!!! wow does that do anything for you guys…i’m not a coward…just simply commented really fast and didn’t put my name in!! now you can bolg for a few days on how i actually posted my name!!! your right “kris” i do know people who have been locked up….even tho that was not the point i was trying to make! i think it seems a little strange that you all feel like you are in the position to judge someone’s life…and not only judge it…feel the need to say that a complete strangers life should come to an end! i just can’t even imagine someone saying that about someone in my family…put yourself in someone else’s shoes!!! oh and just a little background….i’m not some slob doing drugs or committing crimes…i’m actually a great person…i’m in the military and have done a tour in iraq!!! i love my family dearly and i’m able to try and find the good in most people! eye for an eye…if someone is a murderer…than yes harsher punishments but because someone is an addict (a disease)…i don’t think we should be saying they should just die!! i really hope all of your live’s are so great that you can sit at your computer telling someone they should just die! have a little compassion…then we wonder why suicide is up in our country! KINDA SAD!!!

26I’m a researcher with a graduate degree in science and I work in substance abuse prevention.
Addiction is a complicated thing…and so tough to fight that it is called a ‘disease’ because you never fully recover.
I used to scoff at the idea that addiction was a disease …until I educated myself and began working in the field.
It is very easy to say that those who are addicted are making a ‘choice’….because they are, however, they also have very different brain chemistry than you and their choices are often clouded by impulses that you will (luckily) never understand.
We put away many people who are ‘sick’: sick from addiction…sick from abuse….sick from mental illness. It is very sad. Sad everyone can’t be as fortunate as us and make better choices.
Ashley, thanks for you comments and your contribution to our country.
Compassion is a beautiful trait.

27Oh Ashley, the reason suicide rates are up is because people like you don’t make people responsible for their own actions. People keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again because people like you keep dismissing the fact that the only people who will make their lives better are them. How can you justify that Blake has completely broken the law, tried to corrupt the trial against him, and is continuing to use to the extent that this idiot has overdosed while in prison? I honestly don’t care what your name is but if you posted another comment in regards to this, its obvious you care way too much about what people think of you and not the topic at hand. Knowing right from wrong isn’t judging….its common sense. The only people we should feel compassion for is the children that have to grow up with parents who can but won’t make the right decisions. In this case, THANK GOD, Amy and Blake don’t have any. Eventually no matter how you defend it we all reap what we sew. Seems to me, his death wish is deeper than anything we say on some blog. In my opinion, your the one being judgmental by saying we shouldn’t feel the way that we do.

28OH Tara….because i post another blog does not mean that i care about what you think of me…. by far! i could actually careless what you think of me….i don’t even know you! and likewise… you don’t know me…or all these celebrities that you love keeping tabs on and explaining in some pointless blog the reason why they should just die! i’m not sure if you choose to only read what you want or if you purposely mistake my words and make them into your own….but i NEVER once said anything about drugs being ok (i’ve never done a single drug in my life)…or their life style being so great…or even that i pay attention to what goes on in their life. the point i was trying to make…..once again….is that i don’t feel it’s right for anyone to say whether someone’s life should come to an end or not!!!!! did you get that?? ur right Tara…they don’t have kids so why even bring that up?? i don’t know where you get your statistics from by i highly doubt it’s people like “me” for the suicide increase….get a clue lady! you don’t even know me! simply because i said that someone made a rude comment….now i’m the reasoning behind suicides….wow! you need a serious reality check!! i hope it doesn’t come at a serious price for you! “life is presious” that’s a quote that is posted on over passes in kuwait….maybe if you dig a little bit deeper you can find a meaning to that! and you won’t feel the need to say that a complete stranger’s should end his life! i feel bad for you! :(
