DON’T EX WITH TEXAS
Dear Dallas and Surrounding Areas,
This isn’t a sports blog, and it isn’t a publicity stunt. (but have at me if it feels right.)
This is about doing what I think is right as a person, in this case speaking my mind.
I have never known anyone to have more pride in their home state and their upbringing in it than Jessica Simpson has in Texas. I don’t really follow sports, but I have played some of my biggest and best concerts in your state, and having witnessed how dynamic the spirit there is, I’m betting emotions are running high right about now.
All witty barbs, blogs, and fashion policing aside, that girl loves Texas more than you know. It’s one of her most defining traits as a person. So please don’t try and take that away from her. (You probably wouldn’t be able to, but it’s less work for all involved.)
I just thought it would mean something coming from the guy who has the absolute least to gain from this. And if I’m out of line in having written it, too bad. I can spare a Wednesday’s worth of bad press if it means sticking up for a good soul.

1First of all…Does anyone even remember “Newlyweds”?? She hated when Nick would watch football and refused to go to games or even watch it with him so WHY NOW?? I understand that she’s dating Romo but this is not High School this is FOOTALL!!! She may be from Texas and love Texas but is this the first time she has ever been or seen a Dallas Cowboys football game? SHE JINXED THE COWBOYS AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. You dont see players bringing their girlfriends to the games. She needs to re-evaluate herself because she makes no sense…She is the one who said that she was saving herself for marriage because of her religion yet she filed for Divorce?? HAS SHE EVER READ THE BIBLE. You cant pick and choose which things you want to obey…Now she is running around with Romo and every other man in Hollywood doing who knows what and yet everyone feels sorry for her. HER DAD IS WEIRD AND ITS WEIRD THAT EVERYWHERE SHE GOES HE GOES!!!
Does no one else see this. It may not be her complete fault that the Cowboys lost considering she was not on the field helping them play but she is a distraction that the Cowboys didnt need during a very promising season.

2oh my GOD. so the girl went to a freakin’ football game…who the hell cares?! people are FAR too obsessed! she didn’t JINX them…there’s no such thing. they lost because of the players, you know, since THEY were the ones PLAYING the game. its not rocket science people!
