   I don’t think it was her that said it, it was Hayden who gave the ‘ holier than thou ‘ speech. I’d like to place a wager on how long it will be before we get to see her eat her words too : )

   What gets me the most with this stuff is they could kill someone. Even though most of these DUIs take place in the wee hours of the morning, you never know who’s out on the road… a husband making a midnight run for his pregnant wife, parents bringing their sick kid the emergency room, or someone having to drive home late from work. These are some of the most selfish, immature, and irresponsible people. Having fame and fortune shouldn’t take away your respect for others.

   All these young celebs need a reality check, when one of them kill someone and go to prison then people will wake up!!! I do not feel the least bit sorry for any of them, they are spoiled brats that think there above the law. I just hope this one gets more than 20 minutes in a jail cell. The justice system needs to give these celebs the book because they can afford drivers and have no excuse!!!!!!

   really..this doesn’t surprise me.

   what makes me angry is young girls/boys look up to celebrities and do what they do because its “cool” and if these famous people are doing it, then its ok right?
   wrong. I wouldn’t want these people to be a role model for my children, or anyones children.

   maybe its just the thing to do lately but it horrifies me… these are the people I worry about when I drive home late at night..jeez! ya know?

   and maybe its just cops are finally crackign down on a long term problem?

   Janie-O, you will actually be surprised that there are more drunk drivers on the road during the day then in the wee hours like you said. In the wee hours, you will notice them more and are easily caught because there isn’t much other cars around. So really, anyone could get struck at any time. Scary.

   She needs to sit in jail for 23 days just like Paris. Look at Paris now it seems like she has learned her lesson so I think everyone should get the same sentence. Not 83 minutes like Lindsey and Nicole

   Mischa Barton has ditched partying for dog walking.

   The former OC star - who is famed for partying with Nicole Richie - insists she prefers to stay out of the limelight and entertain friends at home.

   Mischa told Weekend magazine: “I know I look the part, and people used to come up to me in the street and talk to me as if I was a crazy party girl. But I don’t go out clubbing because that whole thing is too claustrophobic.
   As for shopping, I’d rather walk my dogs, Ziggy Stardust and Charlie Barton.

   “I cook a mean lasagne, and some people say my potatoes au gratin are pretty on fire.”

   The 21-year-old admits her simple lifestyle disappoints many of her fans, but she insists she is nothing like other young female stars who are renowned for their partying.

   She said: “I guess some people are disappointed. I’m always being associated with other girls, but we’re not in the same crowd. I have only met Paris Hilton once and that was in passing. I am friendly with Nicole Richie, but
   people see us at parties and assume we all know each other.

   “I actually spend my evenings curled up with a good book. Dostoevsky and John Steinbeck are my favourites.”
