According to the latest issue of Star Magazine, Joel Madden told Nicole Richie he wants to get married before she goes to jail. As of right now they’re planning on getting married September 21st – her birthday! She’ll then go to jail from the 24th to the 27th. The whole pregnancy thing has been really scary for Joel, but he really wants to be there for Nicole and the baby and he doesn’t want her to be worried about where they stand while she’s in jail.
Nicole is so upset and scared with everything going on that she’s not really in the right frame of mind to plan a wedding, so she’s hired a wedding planner… they’re either getting married at Joel’s house in Glendale or in his hometown Annapolis, MD… wherever they do it, it’ll be low key and hopefully without too much of a media circus.
Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie is very excited, and he’s hoping family life with a husband and a baby will give Nicole some meaning to her life…
