I know this news broke yesterday morning, I’ve just had a chance to update!
Nicole Richie showed up at court yesterday with her boyfriend/baby daddy Joel Madden…
She will be going to jail for 4 days – she was given a day’s credit for the 6 hours she spent behind bars the night she was arrested… This is her second DUI and the judge told her that if she gets into an accident while under the influence and kills someone in the future, it will be MURDER. Hopefully that’s enough to scare her into not doing it again…
She’s also going to be on probation for the next 3 years and had to pay a $2,048 fine and attend more alcohol awareness classes.
She has to report to jail by September 28th. I wonder if she’ll act all crybabyish like Paris or if she’ll just go and keep her trap shut.
