According to TMZ Paris turned herself in to start serving her 23 day jail sentence last night after walking the red carpet and attending the MTV Movie awards. After the awards show, she returned to her parents house, and then was driven to a location a few miles from the jail to turn herself in. There were way too many photographers and press people around at the jail for her to turn herself in there.Â
She released a statement through her lawyer which said:
“I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks, I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes.”
“This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence.”
They have video and all kinds of pictures… but she’s there! Today is June 4, so she’ll be out on the 27th… what are we going to do for the month without pictures of her or Lindsay????Â
