As much as it may be on all the runways or whatever, it doesn't mean everyone should do it. Also, a lot of runway shows are to show off a designers creativity and skill, and a lot of them are not supposed to be for street wear. I watch a lot of Full Frontal Fashion, which is a show that broadcasts all the runway shows. Opaque tights, especially black were literally on almost EVERY runway. As were metallic shoes and boots. Wearing shoes, even open-toe or sandals with tights is completely acceptable and IN now. I think her outfit is adorable and very hip. Go to www.style.com and you can see all the runway shows.
