Halle Berry recently told Parade Magazine that she tried to commit suicide after her first marriage to David Justice failed!
“I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming when I had an image of my mother finding me,” says Berry. “She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low,” Berry says. “I promised myself I would never be a coward again.”
In the magazine, Berry also fesses up about her rocky relationship with sex-addicted ex-husband Eric Benet. “[It was] really horrific … We were in sex rehab after one year. I wish I had left then, but I was putting everyone’s needs before mine,” she says.
WOW. Isn’t it strange how we think celebrities (with the exception of freaks like Britney Spears) are just perfect and why would she ever want to kill herself over a guy because she’s got so many other things going for her… Very sad!! I don’t blame her for never wanting to get married again!!

1You don’t think that often celebrities want to be celebrities because of the need for approval?
Women who choose bad relationships do because they’re doing some sort of screwed up circular motion from the past…picking men that they need to fix to sort out issues from their childhood..abandonment, whatever. Being famous doesn’t mean anything, it’s just doing it on a different socio-economic level.
LOL…that’s my theory anyway.
