those are “baby bangs”, like a friend i know calls them. after the glorious 9 months of thick hair and long nails, some women lose hair, especially around their hairline, soon after pregnancy. these hairs inevitably grow back but for a while they are very short, obviously. i have a lot of mom-friends who dealt with this – it’s just part of the hormonal changes going on.
